The Cardinal Joseph Bernardin Advisory Board fosters a collaborative climate of leadership between parents, the four pastors, and the principal in pursuing the mission of Cardinal Bernardin School. In its operation, it advises and is accountable to the pastors and the principal. The school board follows the policies and administrative procedures of the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Office of Catholic Schools.
The CJB Advisory Board is comprised of the Executive Pastor of the school, the Principal, and three advisory board members from each of the four parishes participating in this regional school. Membership on the Advisory Board requires a commitment involving at least one monthly meeting with committee work between meetings.
