I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at St. Xavier University in 2009. I earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction for Digital Teaching & Learning in 2015 from the American College of Education. I hold endorsements in Self-Contained General Education, Language Arts, & Social Science. My time at CJB began prior to student teaching when I taught Shakespeare to 1st graders for my Honors Senior Project. Then, I completed my student teaching, was the first teacher of our Pre-K3 program & our full day Pre-K program, and now am thrilled to be in my third year of teaching Kindergarten. As a product of Catholic education myself, I know how extremely blessed I am to have found a home in the CJB community. I am overjoyed that my son is a proud Cardinal, too! Some of my service to CJB includes: being a Pre-K Team Leader, helping to develop the Pre-K program, serving on the Athletic Board, working on various curriculum committees, and hosting Mom & Tot Storytime for potential families. I am currently one of the moderators for Yearbook and NJHS. The source of my strength is a call from God to be the best version of myself for both my home & school family. I see cardinals often and I know they are signs of strength and inspiration from God! When I’m not at school, I love spending time with family, reading, and doing yoga or bike riding. I love coffee, tacos, ice-cream, and Disney!
