First Year at CJB: 2013
Education: Mrs. Murphy earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois.
Past Experiences: Upon entering the workforce, Mrs. Murphy taught middle school in the public domain. After seven years, she took a thirteen year maternity leave to raise her four children. In 2013, she started her career at CJB as a PreK 3 aide. The next year, she became a teacher for PreK 3. Since then, she has taught PreK 4, 6th grade, 7th grade, and now 8th grade.

Fun Fact: CJB was part of Mrs. Murphy's life much earlier than 2013. Her oldest started kindergarten at CJB in 2002, and her youngest graduated from CJB in 2021. She considers herself lucky to have filled the duals roles of parent and teacher at a school she loves so much.
